Partnership with Coca-Cola Mexico’s “Escuelas con Agua” Program

Fundación Televisa has joined forces with Coca-Cola Mexico’s “Escuelas con Agua” initiative to enhance water supply in rural schools.

“Escuelas con Agua” focuses on installing rainwater harvesting systems in educational institutions, addressing the needs of students and teachers for activities such as handwashing and maintaining clean restrooms. These systems can collect between 500,000 to 1,000,000 liters of water annually.

Educational Component on Water Conservation

The “Escuelas con Agua” initiative also includes an educational aspect, providing training to students, teachers, and parents on water conservation culture. These messages are integrated into the storylines of Televisa’s telenovelas, with “A.MAR” being one of the pioneering shows that addressed this topic.

To date, the “Escuelas con Agua” program has positively impacted over 700 schools across various states in Mexico.
