Governor Tere Jiménez Highlights Organizational Capabilities

Governor Tere Jiménez received the report on the San Marcos Fair 2025 results, which showcased more than 8.5 million visitors and an economic impact exceeding 10,000 million pesos – a 5.7% and 10.4% increase compared to the previous year.

Jiménez emphasized that each edition of the San Marcos Fair demonstrates Aguascalientes’ organizational prowess, hospitality, safety, cleanliness, and logistical capabilities that distinguish it nationally and internationally. She stated: “Our fair is not only the most important in our country but also the best in Latin America.”

She added that these results set a challenge for the upcoming April fair, requiring determination, enthusiasm, strategy, and ambition to surpass previous achievements.

Impressive Employment and Hotel Occupancy Figures

José Ángel González Serna, president of the San Marcos Fair Patronage, detailed that the 2025 fair results surpassed expectations:

  • 37,200 jobs were generated during the fair period.
  • Hotel occupancy reached 74%.

Specifically, the Mazda Foro saw over 604,000 attendees, while the Monumental Bullring hosted 115,000 aficionados. The Foro del Lago welcomed 257,800 people, and more than 500,000 participated in cultural activities.

The five economic, tourism, and agroindustrial pavilions attracted 1.9 million visitors, according to reports from the Tourism, Economic Development, Science and Technology, and Rural Development and Agrobusiness secretariats.

The event took place at the Tres Centurias Railway Complex Cultural Museum, with notable attendees including:
