Mexican Anniversaries
July, the seventh month of the year, is named after Julius Caesar, who was born on July 12 in 46 BC. However, another theory suggests that the month’s name originated from Lulo, son of Troy’s hero Eneas, who traveled to Italy after the city’s fall due to Greek attacks.

- 1st July, 1897: Commencement of courses at the Military Naval School in Veracruz port.
- 1st July, 1906: The newspaper Regeneración published the “Manifesto to the Nation” and the “Program of the Mexican Liberal Party,” with the slogan “Reform, Freedom, and Justice.” This document proposed various social and economic reforms that would later be incorporated into the 1917 Constitution.

Summer Vacation Period
