Key Initiatives for Transforming Nuevo León into a Technological Innovation Hub

Monterrey, NL. The Monterrey Digital Hub has made a significant move towards establishing Nuevo León as a hub for technological innovation in Latin America. In celebration of its seventh anniversary, it announced three key initiatives for transformation: the creation of the state’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cluster, the launch of a venture capital fund —Digital Hub Ventures— and the presentation of the 2030 Strategic Plan.

The AI Cluster: A Cornerstone for Industrial Innovation

The AI Cluster will feature an Industrial AI Innovation Center, testing labs for AI-based solutions, a committee for normativity and ethics, collaboration spaces among companies, startups, government, and universities, and specialized training programs. The cluster aims to accelerate AI adoption in key sectors and develop specialized talent addressing future digital needs.

Digital Hub Ventures: A Catalyst for Tech Startups

In partnership with AngelHub, this venture capital fund aims to boost tech startups in Mexico. It will involve large corporations and experts from Silicon Valley, focusing on B2B startups based on technologies like AI, SaaS, and blockchain. The fund targets early-stage startups (from Seed to Series A) interested in operating within the Mexican market.

As part of its commitment to Mexico’s economic and technological development, the Digital Hub unveiled its 2030 Plan. This ambitious roadmap aims to position Monterrey as Latin America’s digital innovation capital.
