Introduction

Mexico is gearing up to host some of the most significant matches in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled from June 11 to July 19 across three countries: Mexico, the United States, and Canada. This historic edition will mark the debut of an expanded format with 48 participating teams and 16 venues, including three in Mexico: Ciudad de México, Guadalajara, and Monterrey.

Match Schedule in Mexico

Estadio Azteca, Ciudad de México

The Estadio Azteca will host the opening match, becoming the only stadium in history to hold three World Cup opening games (1970, 1986, and now 2026).

    • June 24: Match 53 – Group A (Mexico #3)
  • Round of 16:
