“During the second quarter of 2025, we achieved an 8.1% increase in EBITDA with a consolidated margin of 20.7%, the result of a proven pricing-packaging strategy and solid execution at the point of sale,” Gutiérrez stated in a press release.

“These accomplishments reflect our adaptability in the face of market contraction and the resilience of our sustainable business model.”

Challenges Faced During Q2 2025

Several factors posed challenges for Arca Continental during the April-June period, including heavy rains in Mexico and cautious consumer behavior in the United States, which affected sales volumes.

Analysts’ Perspective

Despite these challenges, analysts consider Arca Continental to be resilient. The company’s ability to maintain sales through price increases was noted as a positive aspect.

However, rising costs and expenses slightly deteriorated operating and net margins, according to analysts from Bx+.

Outlook for the Rest of 2025

Gutiérrez expressed optimism regarding the remaining quarters of 2025, expecting volumes to stabilize in their primary markets of Mexico and the United States.

“What we expect is for volume to stabilize for the rest of the year in our principal markets of Mexico and the United States… We will continue to work on maintaining margins and profitability while doing so, which means we expect prices to be in line with inflation…” Gutiérrez said during a conference with analysts and investors.
