Ruba Kicks Off 2025 with Strong Revenue Growth
Ruba, a prominent Mexican real estate developer, has begun 2025 on a robust growth trajectory in revenues, driven by its balanced construction and commercialization strategy across social, middle-tier, and residential housing segments.
With 2,602 homes sold, Ruba recorded revenues exceeding 4,121 million pesos in the first quarter of 2025, marking a 16.8% year-over-year increase.
Ruba’s CEO Outlines Future Plans
Jesús Sandoval Armenta, Ruba’s General Director, emphasized the company’s intent to maintain this positive trend throughout 2025 by prioritizing financial health, investing in new projects, and forming strategic alliances to strengthen its leadership in Mexico’s housing industry.
“Ruba’s consistent performance over the past 14 uninterrupted years is a testament to our dedicated team and our foundational philosophy of reinvesting 90% of profits since the company’s inception 45 years ago,” Sandoval stated.
Over four decades, Ruba has escriturated 260,000 homes. Though established in Chihuahua, the firm now operates across 12 Mexican states.
Social Housing Advances Amidst Challenges
Despite rising construction material and land costs, regulatory hurdles, and the prevailing economic climate, Ruba achieved growth in home sales during the year’s initial months. Notably, its success stands out in low socioeconomic levels targeted housing, a segment that experienced a decline by year-end 2024.
According to Ruba’s report to the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), social housing unit placements rose by 6.5%, while middle and residential segment sales increased by 10.2%.
Consequently, socially-focused homes accounted for 45% of Ruba’s sales and a quarter of its revenues. Meanwhile, middle and residential housing captured 55% of sales and generated 75% of revenues.
Ruba’s Growth Projections for 2025
Sandoval anticipates sustaining double-digit growth in revenues and profits for 2025, thanks to financial stability and business diversification.
Recently, Ruba announced new vertical housing projects, rental apartments, and industrial spaces. Among them is a residential complex in Ciudad Juárez, comprising six towers with 108 medium-high category homes. These properties were developed in partnership with UG+ Desarrollos and are slated for replication in other markets where Ruba operates.
