A Unique Challenge
Recently, I participated in one of Bosco’s Camp organized routes to test a new off-road vehicle, the Jeep Wrangler JT Mojave Mojito 2025. Heavy rains transformed the San Miguel de Allende route into a natural challenge, turning normal dirt roads into raging rivers and muddy plains that demanded the use of 4L reduction in every vehicle in the convoy.
Well-Equipped for Off-Road Adventures
This new Jeep edition, with a limited production of only 50 units, boasts a 100% Jeep, 100% Truck design. The exterior features an eye-catching Verde Mojito color, complemented by a new seven-bar grille, exclusive wheels, tow hooks in orange, and an integrated antenna into the windshield.
Behind the Wheel
The real showstopper came when it was time to get dirty. The FOX 2.5” bypass shocks with reservoirs, combined with FOX hydraulic shocks and a one-inch front suspension lift, provided exceptional response and absorption against the impacts of rocky trails and water crossings, avoiding unwanted bounces and maintaining precise steering.
With just a button press, the Mojave Mojito adjusted power delivery, traction control, and shift points to allow controlled drifts, high-speed lowders, and rear differential lock even in long gears. Despite being a pickup, the extra weight from the bed wasn’t an issue. The torque was distributed so precisely that, even with added cargo, the performance remained consistent and fun.
Maximum Attention to Detail
Inside, the experience was equally sophisticated. Featuring 12-direction electric sport seats, Uconnect 5 system, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Instead of focusing on comfort, we should highlight the specialized equipment designed for leaving paved roads without worrying about getting the interior dirty.
- Durable floor mats
- Removable doors
- Water-resistant controls
However, the standout feature of this JT Mojave Mojito 2025 is its excellent front and side visibility, making even tight maneuvers or precise turns much easier.
