Monterrey, NL. Andrés Garza Herrera, the current vicepresident of Qualtia’s Advisory Council, has been appointed as the new CEO of Consejo Nuevo León during its 14th ordinary session. Garza Herrera’s Previous Leadership Roles
From 2023 to 2025, Garza Herrera served as president of the Economic Development Commission in Consejo Nuevo León, collaborating with the Nuevo León Economic Secretariat on projects related to the economic impact of investments in the state, the productive chain of SMEs, productivity, and competitiveness.

Andrés Garza Herrera, the newly appointed CEO of Consejo Nuevo León, holds a mechanical engineering degree from Tec de Monterrey. He also has a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego and participated in the Global Leadership program at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. Currently, Garza Herrera serves as vicepresident of Qualtia’s Advisory Council.
Previously, Garza Herrera was the director of Qualtia and Xignux’s Food Division from 2010 to 2023.
