Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. – The transformation of the Judicial Power in Tamaulipas is a reality, and starting September 30th, the three Powers of the State will be elected democratically, affirmed Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya.
During the civic ceremony of honors at the Supreme Court of Justice’s explanade, Villarreal Anaya expressed gratitude to the magistrates and the entire Judicial Power for supporting his administration during these three years of office, demonstrating their willingness and acceptance of the popular will to carry out this transformation.

The governor highlighted the construction of the Judicial City, the largest infrastructure project in the Judicial Power in many years, and the remodeling works at the tribunal’s headquarters as evidence of collaboration between the State Powers to achieve better conditions and opportunities that will help Tamaulipas families regain the path of peace, well-being, work, and happiness.
Judicial Power Recognizes Governor Américo Villarreal for Strengthening the Rule of Law
Hernán De la Garza Tamez, President of the Supreme Court of Justice and the Judicial Council, mentioned that according to a recent INEGI survey on Judge Day, the citizens granted a 70.2% approval rating, expressing confidence in justice impartation in Tamaulipas. This places the state among the top seven in the country.
De la Garza Tamez also acknowledged Governor Américo Villarreal for solidifying the rule of law through continuous respect and cooperation among public officials in Tamaulipas.
“His support for the consolidation of a modern and accessible justice system has been constant and strong,” he stated.

I have known her for over 25 years, since our time together in the Secretariat of Government. I am confident in her capabilities and professionalism, and I have no doubt she will steer the institution correctly,” he said.
