Founders and Early Beginnings
In 2007, in Mexico City, Ana Patricia de Velasco and her sister Ana María founded IDEWO, a project named after the English expression “Working Ideas.” Their goal was to commercialize both industrial and artistic creations in Mexico. By 2024, IDEWO evolved into IDEWO ART, a platform dedicated to showcasing and recognizing both emerging and established artists through publications like IDEWO ART MAGAZINE and IDEWO ART BOOK. These publications have gained national and international reach, available in digital format and on demand as printed books through Amazon.
Core Values and Artistic Focus
“What truly unites the works we publish is visible dedication and a committed artistic practice,” says Ana Patricia de Velasco, emphasizing that each piece reflects originality, professionalism, and authenticity. IDEWO ART has become a cultural dissemination engine and a means to connect the public with the emotional and spiritual aspects of art.
Artist Relationships
IDEWO ART’s growth has allowed for connections with artists from Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Spain, and various Mexican states. Despite cultural differences in themes, each artwork maintains a personal and intimate signature.
Artist Recognition and Support
IDEWO ART aims to be an integral community, providing tools for artists to focus on creation and receive immediate recognition, along with exhibition opportunities in cultural spaces and museums.
Since January 2025, Ana Patricia has organized seven exhibitions with IDEWO ART participants, including photographers, digital artists, and regional talents.
Podcast and Future Plans
IDEWO ART also launched a podcast featuring interviews with artists to delve into their creative processes, strengthening the close relationship they maintain.
Ana Patricia highlights the resurgence of book collecting in physical format, ensuring IDEWO ART MAGAZINE is available both digitally and physically. Monthly editions highlight each creator through dedicated pages for their work and artistic statement, positively impacting their careers.

IDEWO ART exemplifies the crucial role art publications can play in society, serving not only as an aesthetic medium but also as a tool for visibility, professionalization, and cultural connection.
