The Allure of Real Estate for Famous Personalities

Celebrities like Floyd Mayweather, Robert De Niro, and Arnold Schwarzenegger have built fortunes beyond their careers thanks to the real estate sector.

Historically, the real estate market has been seen as a haven for large capital, making it an attractive investment destination for well-known personalities. However, the challenge lies in making these benefits accessible to common investors.

Dividenz’s Analysis of the Global Real Estate Market

According to an analysis by Dividenz, a real estate investment platform, one of the characteristics of the global real estate market is its robustness and stability, which has drawn investment from various celebrities.

“The United States and its real estate market continue to be an attractive destination for international investors, and celebrities have taken advantage of this,” explained Mariza Alvarado, Commercial Director for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean at Dividenz.

Opportunities for Everyone?

While the success of real estate investments has materialized for some celebrities, in recent years, companies have emerged seeking access to investment mechanisms in real estate with amounts significantly lower than those of famous figures.

“Today, these opportunities are not reserved only for millionaires or public figures. Thanks to technology, more and more people in Mexico and Latin America can access this market,” added Alvarado.

Previously, entering this business meant spending millions and dealing with complex procedures; however, today it can be done from anywhere in the world without the need to travel or have deep knowledge of investment markets or property management.

In Dividenz’s case, the firm specializes in acquiring multi-family residential, industrial, and retail properties, which, according to the platform, are the ones with the highest investment volume in the United States.

The company states that with its own resources, it acquires already constructed and rented buildings, ensuring a monthly income source in dollars. Additionally, it intervenes in properties to increase their value and sells them at a higher price once the intervention is complete, distributing the profits among all investors.

“By positioning itself in real operating buildings, it allows the investor to receive distributions from the first day, coming from rents,” Alvarado noted.

On its website, the firm assures that invested capital is backed by real estate assets in the United States, where evaluations are conducted beforehand to ensure asset quality and capital protection.
