Analyzing the VACB trend over the past 15 years, the commercial sector has shown the most significant growth in its contribution. Between 2008 and 2023, it increased from 14.8% to 25%, a rise of 10.2 percentage points.
During this period, the manufacturing sector’s contribution grew by 3.5 percentage points, from 54.3% to 57.8%. Private non-financial services decreased by 3 percentage points, from 16.5% to 13.5%. The remaining activities dropped by 10.6 percentage points, from 14.3% to 3.7%.

Querétaro’s VACB has seen an average annual growth rate of 5.7% between 2018 and 2023, which is lower than the 14.1% average annual growth rate between 2013 and 2018. Between 2008 and 2013, the average annual growth rate was -1%.
