Introduction

In today’s world, finding good or bad information on almost any topic is easy. However, much of this information is superficial, such as “10 tips” to “conceal wrinkles” or achieve any other goal. While some information can be useful, people often fail to apply it effectively.

The Abundance of Information vs. Its Effective Use

Despite the vast amount of information available, people remain in similar situations. For instance, there are millions of books, articles, and videos on weight loss and healthy living, yet obesity rates continue to rise, particularly in Mexico.

Similarly, there are numerous free resources on starting a business, yet many individuals still attempt to do so without a formal plan. Financial management and debt reduction have countless resources, yet many middle-class Mexicans remain overwhelmed by interest-free months.

Information is abundant; the issue lies in its effective utilization. People consume information but fail to apply it, often without discernment or critical thinking.

The Importance of Focusing on Goals

Over the years, I’ve observed that people prioritize gathering information rather than focusing on their ultimate goals. For example, individuals may read extensively about debt or capital instruments but lack clarity on their investment objectives or risk tolerance.

Knowledge is indeed power, but it’s crucial to apply this knowledge to one’s specific situation and use it to achieve desired outcomes. Losing this focus can render excessive information counterproductive, leading to confusion, frustration, or inaction.

The Shift in Power

Today, information is readily available at our fingertips. The true power lies not in possessing information but in how we utilize it to improve our lives. With the rise of artificial intelligence, seeking answers has become more accessible than ever.
