Presenting the accumulated statistics from 2021 to 2027, Vega Vázquez Mellado reported that Querétaro welcomed 74 million visitors and maintained an occupancy rate of 64% in its hotels.
- An investment of 136 million pesos was made in tourism infrastructure, positively impacting 23 million tourists.
- Public and private investments totaling 85 million pesos were allocated to develop 54 tourism infrastructure and equipment projects.

Capacity Building and Training in the Tourism Sector

“We have an internal instructor who enables us to reach all communities with over 30 courses… Each municipality and community progresses at its own pace, and we have more than 650 courses throughout the administration,” Vega Vázquez Mellado stated.
In the past year, 66 new certified tourist guides have been added to the existing pool of 200 certified guides in Querétaro.
