The Medal Reflects Collective Dreams and Inspires Thousands of Students

During the award ceremony and through a video message from the national offices of the National Institute for Professional Technical Education (CONALEP), Delgado Carrillo emphasized that this distinction celebrates the talent, perseverance, and social commitment of young people.

The students honored with the Bernardo Quintana Arrioja 2025 medal are:

  • Valor: Bruno Emilio Díaz Olimón (Sonora) and Neri Santiago Mateos Peralta (Estado de México)
  • Excelencia Académica: María Constanza Mendoza Castilla (Coahuila)
  • Patriotismo: Metztli Escobedo Castañeda (Zacatecas)
  • Servicio: Yahir Alejandro Martínez Díaz (Coahuila)

In addition, 10 honorable mentions and 18 ICA medals were awarded, reinforcing that Mexican youth is a driving force of talent, conviction, and hope for the country’s transformation.

The Significance of the Bernardo Quintana Arrioja Medal

Established in 1989 by the Youth Support Foundation (IAP), the medal has become a symbol of inspiration and the best of the student community, promoting trajectories that combine talent, effort, and a vocation for service.

Delgado Carrillo highlighted that the medal reflects collective dreams and serves as an inspiration for thousands of students. He affirmed that the great interest shown this year confirms that technical education is a driving force for national development, connecting neighborhoods, communities, and knowledge with the country’s future.

Speeches by CONALEP Director General and Representatives

Rodrigo Rojas Navarrete, CONALEP’s General Director, stated that awarding the medal honors the memory of an exemplary, visionary, and humanist Mexican like Engineer Bernardo Quintana Arrioja.

He emphasized that each awardee represents a story of effort and overcoming, and they are recognized not only for their achievements but also for their commitment to transforming their communities with valor, patriotism, leadership, service, and academic excellence.
