Marcial Díaz, an analyst at QUA Consultants, explained that the new Standardized Request Format is a significant step towards digitalization and administrative simplification in the energy sector.

“It facilitates documentary traceability, harmonizes technical criteria, and strengthens inter-institutional coordination between the CNE, ASEA, SENER, and SAT,” said the expert.

However, implementing this new format will require permit holders and managers to update their internal processes and integrate technical and financial files in digital format, according to Díaz.
