Nvidia Acquires Intel Shares for AI Chip Development
Nvidia and Intel announced on Monday that they have completed a $5 billion agreement where Nvidia acquired 215 million Intel shares at $23.28 each. This deal is part of a collaboration between the two companies to develop chips for personal computers and data centers. Intel will manufacture x86 processing units for Nvidia’s AI infrastructure platforms, as well as new x86 chip systems integrating Nvidia’s RTX graphics processing units.
Stock movements: Nvidia shares fell 1.21% to $188.22, while Intel’s stock rose 1.27% to $36.6 per share.
Traxión Renews Contract with BTG Pactual for Market Making
Traxión, a major Mexican transportation company, reported renewing its contract with BTG Pactual as its market maker for another year. Chevron Bypasses US Oil Embargo on Venezuela
Chevron, a US-based oil company, successfully delivered Venezuelan crude to US ports amidst the Trump administration’s maritime blockade. According to Bloomberg, Chevron’s chartered vessels, Searuby and Canopus Voyager, discharged in the United States. Additionally, three more Chevron vessels are en route to the continent with further oil shipments planned for January, following the sale of at least ten cargoes.

Actinver, a Mexican financial intermediary, launched “Circuito Actinver 2026,” a race with a cause aiming to transform kilometers run into cancer awareness, prevention, and direct support for colorectal and pancreatic cancer patients. The event is scheduled for February 15, 2026, at the Hipódromo de las Américas, expecting over 8,000 attendees and 4,000 runners in 5km and 10km distances.
Donation-based registrations: Participant registrations will be converted into donations for FUTEJE, an organization with over 30 years of experience in caring for colorectal cancer patients without social security, and VAPORTI Contra el Cáncer de Páncreas, a Grisi Foundation program focused on support and early detection for pancreatic cancer.
