BBVA and Mexico’s Tourism Secretariat Collaborate on ‘Avanzamos por México’ Program

BBVA organized a pre-Fitur forum in Madrid, which gathered institutional, business, and financial representatives from Mexico’s tourism sector. The event featured a presentation on the ‘Avanzamos por México’ program, a partnership between BBVA and Mexico’s Tourism Secretariat (SECTUR).

This collaboration between BBVA and SECTUR has channeled 5,400 million Mexican pesos in financing for small tourism businesses, including artisans, restaurant entrepreneurs, and tour operators, from March 2025 to January 16, 2026.
