The Secretaría de Turismo de Sinaloa (SECTUR) recently presented the diverse destinations of Mazatlán and Los Mochis in Madrid, Spain, as part of the “From Sea to Mountain” route during FITUR 2026.

More than 50 tour operators and specialized media attended the presentation, which aimed to open new promotional and commercial opportunities for Sinaloa in international markets.

Mireya Sosa Osuna, the state tourism secretary, emphasized that the “From Sea to Mountain” experience connects Sinaloa’s destinations, cultures, and landscapes with international markets.
“We are showcasing all the wonders of our beautiful state, including its gastronomy, history, culture, roots, and natural landscapes. We have been promoting five routes with a special focus on the ‘From Sea to Mountain’ route from Mazatlán, the Pearl of the Pacific, where you can experience a sea of stories, to Los Mochis, the gateway to the Copper Canyon and El Fuerte Magical Town, which is part of the El Chepe Express train route,” she stated.
