12 Local Companies to Participate in International Training Program
In an effort to bolster the competitiveness of the local automotive industry, establish Aguascalientes as a national benchmark, and spearhead the transition to electric mobility in Mexico, Governor Tere Jiménez announced that 12 Aguascalientes-based companies will take part in the “Strengthening of the Automotive Industry” program. This training will take place from February 1 to 16 in Hiroshima and Yokohama, Japan.
Objective of the Training
The international training aims to provide participating companies with world-class tools, methodologies, and management models focused on continuous process improvement, quality assurance, and the adoption of advanced manufacturing best practices. This will enhance productivity and facilitate integration into global supply chains.
Collaboration with Japan
The training program is a result of the collaboration agreement between the State Government and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). It is part of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen local suppliers, promote industrial innovation, and prepare companies for future mobility challenges.
Importance of Human Capital Development
Esaú Garza de Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, Science, and Technology (Sedecyt), emphasized that developing specialized human talent is crucial to maintaining Aguascalientes’ position as a leader in the automotive industry and to support its transition towards new, electric-vehicle production models.
