New Ventures, in collaboration with IKEA Social Entrepreneurship and supported by IKEA Mexico, has launched the sixth edition of the México Accelerator Programme (MAP) to bolster social entrepreneurship in the country. The initiative aims to support ten businesses with a demonstrable social and/or environmental impact.

New Ventures is a firm dedicated to fostering social entrepreneurship, working closely with impact-driven businesses. IKEA Social Entrepreneurship is a part of IKEA’s commitment to sustainability, focusing on empowering social enterprises through various programs and initiatives.
MAP Objectives and Benefits
Since its inception, MAP has supported over 50 social enterprises, positively impacting more than 12,000 people through dignified employment and access to essential goods and services.
Selected companies will receive:
- Personalized strategic guidance
- Specialized mentorship
- Tools to strengthen business performance and measure impact
- Connections with corporate entities, investors, and key ecosystem actors
Eligibility Criteria for MAP
To participate in this edition of MAP, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have an active business model with operational sales
- Be Mexican companies with measurable social and/or environmental impact
- Engage in circular economy initiatives, sustainable or regenerative agriculture, inclusive employment, or direct collaboration with vulnerable or marginalized communities
Selection Process
The selection process consists of four stages:
- Initial registration
- Submission of detailed business model and impact information
- Interviews with the evaluation team
- Review by the selection committee
Ultimately, ten companies will be chosen to join MAP and undergo acceleration from April 2026 to June 2027.
