Collaborative Effort to Develop Metropolitan Agenda

The Secretaría de Desarrollo Agrario, Territorial y Urbano (Sedatu) is coordinating a joint effort among the governments of the State of Mexico, Mexico City, Hidalgo, and Morelos to create the Program of Urban Order for the Mexico Valley Metropolitan Area (POZMVM).

The first ordinary session of 2026 for the Secretariado Técnico Conjunto del Consejo de Desarrollo Metropolitano del Valle de México (council technical joint secretariat of the metropolitan development council of the Mexico Valley) took place in the State of Mexico.

During this meeting at Sedui offices in Metepec, the participants outlined upcoming activities, including two public consultation processes: an indigenous consultation and a public consultation.
