The ATTRAPI explained that these internal actions are necessary to comply with their objectives and exercise their recently granted regulatory powers concerning the Agencia Reguladora del Transporte Ferroviario (ARTF).

Project Scope and Challenges

The chosen company or consortium will develop the definitive executive project and carry out necessary works to enable the segment’s operation within 998 natural days, starting from March 20. The construction will follow a fast-track scheme, allowing phased construction as project sections are completed instead of waiting for the entire executive project’s completion.

Budget and Timeline

The participants have been informed that the budget allocation for this year is 1,970.2 million pesos, including VAT. Commitments for subsequent fiscal years will be subject to execution and payment once the following year’s budget becomes available.
