A Beloved Car’s Legacy in Mexico
When Suzuki introduced the Swift to the Mexican market, they never anticipated the deep connection it would establish with both consumers and the market. Over the years, various equipment options, colors, and versions were developed based on a simple concept—efficient mechanics that have proven the car’s reliability and durability over time. However, after nearly 20 years in Mexico, the Swift Sport package marks the end of its commercialization with the arrival of a special edition.

Since the start of sales in Mexico, Swift has placed 136,231 units, with 12.1% being the Sport version, totaling 16,546 cars.
Exclusive Attire
To make this model irreplaceable, the Swift Sport edition incorporates various elements not found in any other version. These include 16” black polished alloy wheels, called Black Rocket by the brand, distinctive decals on the hood and sides, a numbered license plate on the trunk lid, and three color options: Azul infinity, Amarillo rally, and Vulcano.

As part of its equipment, it offers automatic air conditioning, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 9” central display, as well as a 6-speaker audio system.
Racing Capsule
The Swift Sport’s interior ambiance always distinguishes itself from other versions, and this edition is no exception. The primary element altering the interior feel are the front bucket seats, offering increased lateral support due to their design. Additional red accents adorn various areas of the dashboard, cluster, center console, and doors, along with edition number plaques for floor mats, steering wheel, and dashboard.

Among its most appreciated qualities are its compact size and the agility of its handling, thanks to features like a 2,450 mm wheelbase and a 1,515 mm track width.
Small and Swift
Under the hood, there are no surprises; it retains the four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 138 horsepower, which can be paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. One of its significant advantages is the power-to-weight ratio; with Suzuki’s lightweight and robust Heartect platform, the vehicle’s weight barely reaches 970 kilograms, making each horsepower responsible for moving only 7 kilograms.
