Collaboration with Government and Cultural Recognition
During the Fitur tourism fair, Mulinelli expressed gratitude to the federal government for allowing Aeroméxico to transport a sculpture by Mexican artist César Mencha to Madrid’s Puerta del Sol. The sculpture, a version of Mencha’s iconic “Oso y el Madroño,” is a popular spot for tourist photographs.
Support from Tourism Officials
Miguel Aguíñiga, Head of Innovation, Sustainability, and Tourism Professionalization at Mexico’s Secretariat of Tourism, praised Aeroméxico for its role in promoting both domestic and international tourism through enhanced connectivity.
“I want to thank and congratulate the authorities for their initiative and for inviting us to be strategically involved in transporting the sculpture,” said Giancarlo Mulinelli.
“I appreciate everything Aeroméxico does to connect Mexico. The 32 states represented here do a lot to promote and attract tourists. I thank the private sector for their participation, as we couldn’t achieve this without Aeroméxico’s presence. Their efforts and position among the world’s most punctual airlines are truly commendable,” Aguíñiga added.
