Low-displacement motorcycles remain the backbone of the sector, with 61,063 registrations in January for motorcycles between 101 and 250 cubic centimeters (cc).
Outlook for 2026
Looking ahead, Cafam’s president, Federico H. Vacas, expressed optimism about the market’s growth prospects for 2026. He cited factors such as increased stability, fiercer competition among brands, and the availability of financing tools that make motorcycles more accessible to consumers.
“We project a near 10% advance,” Vacas stated, indicating confidence in the sector’s future performance.
