Pierpaolo Barbieri Rises to Second Place
Pierpaolo Barbieri, CEO of Ualá, climbed three spots to secure the second position. Alongside Galperin and David Vélez, CEO of Brazilian digital bank Nubank, they complete the podium.
The Remaining Top 10 CEOs
Completing the top 10 are Argentinians Migoya (Globant), Santilli (PepsiCo), and López (Google Cloud); Brazilian Paula Bellizia (AWS); Chilean Matías Muchnick (NotCo); and Mexican Monica Flores Barragán (Manpower).
Methodology and Gender Diversity
The ranking utilizes AI tools that process data from leading media and social networks (LinkedIn and X) concerning global corporate agenda themes: innovation, sustainability, talent, and business.
“This year’s ranking marks the highest historical turnover since 2022, with 60 new CEOs and 40% making their debut,” said Cristian Marchiaro, Horse’s founder.
The technology sector leads in influential positioning and disruption, contributing 23 of the 100 selected CEOs. However, only 16 women are part of this group driving change in LATAM, with three appearing in the top 10.
Addressing Gender Disparity
The founders of Horse acknowledged that gender disparity is a concern in LATAM, noting progress but emphasizing the need for action beyond words.
