About Interceramic

Interceramic, a Mexican company with 46 years of experience, is one of the leading manufacturers of flooring, wall coverings, and bathroom fixtures in North America. Their extensive portfolio of ceramic and complementary products positions them as a key player in the industry. With over 400 sales points and an annual production capacity exceeding 46 million square meters, Interceramic has established a strong presence in the market while keeping consumer needs at the forefront.

Interceramic’s Participation in Obra Blanca 2025

Obra Blanca 2025 is a significant event for the construction sector, bringing together architects, design firms, and decoration specialists. León Lugo Aranda, Interceramic’s executive director of finance and operations, emphasized the importance of this exhibition for connecting with their target audience and influencers:

“This exhibition is crucial as it gathers all construction specialists: architects, design firms, and decoration specialists. They are essential parts of our clientele and brand influencers. It’s vital for them to understand our strategy firsthand.”

Escenarios Sensoriales: Evolving Design

Interceramic introduced the theme “Escenarios Sensoriales,” an immersive experience that connects with senses and emotions. The five distinct spaces recreated various moments of the day and moods, combining lighting, sound, aroma, and texture to demonstrate how design influences the way we inhabit spaces:

  • Armonía en Escena: A tribute to the balance between nature and modernity, celebrating the beauty and strength of marble pieces.
  • Conexión Esencial: A sanctuary of calm and well-being, inviting self-connection through water, soft lighting, and floral fragrances.
  • Memorias entre Sabores: The kitchen as the emotional heart of the home, awakening memories and highlighting the warmth of togetherness.
  • Encuentro Creativo: A dynamic studio evoking the birth of ideas, blending energy and natural materials to create a conducive space.
  • Escape Regenerativo: A private oasis of serenity, inviting disconnection to revitalize body and mind through rest.

AuraStone and NeoStone: New Launches

At Obra Blanca, Interceramic unveiled two new collections, reflecting their focus on innovation with environmental responsibility. Both collections merge technology, sustainability, and design:

  • AuraStone: A fusion of the intangible and ethereal, incorporating Realtech technology with a continuous aesthetic and unique visual depth. Its ultra-thin slabs (3 to 6 mm) reduce waste and optimize transportation while expanding applications to facades, furniture, or interior walls.
  • NeoStone: A contemporary architectural reinterpretation of stone, offering matte, metallic, or pebbled finishes that balance durability and elegance for high-performance projects.

Successful Business Model

Interceramic has built a vertical integration model, covering everything from raw material extraction to after-sales service. Strategic partnerships with commercial allies like Kohler enable the development of premium joint projects. The company has also implemented digitalization processes and industrial technologies to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impact:

“We have achieved faster, cleaner operations with significant energy savings through optimization in our plants.”

Long-term Vision

Interceramic maintains a long-term vision centered on innovation, quality, and trust. León Lugo Aranda concluded:

“Interceramic is simply the best: for our processes, our people, and the solutions we offer to the public.”
