Megacable currently employs 700 people in the state, with 500 direct and 2,000 indirect positions. In Mérida specifically, Megacable aims to achieve an 80% home penetration rate by the end of 2025.
“Megacable has invested over 650 million pesos in the state since 2023, and we plan to add approximately 400 million pesos by 2026 to further expand our infrastructure, services, and cover an additional 50,000 homes, representing 50% of the coverage,” stated Megacable.

Megacable and its subsidiary, MCM Business Tech-Co, have deployed over 1,200 kilometers of fiber optic cable to serve the corporate, industrial, and public sectors in the entity.
