Luis Rosendo Gutiérrez, Undersecretary of Trade External Relations at Mexico’s Secretariat of Economy, represented Secretary Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon in the APEC Ministerial Trade Meeting held in Jeju, South Korea.
High-Level Meetings and Key Discussions
During the visit, which took place from May 13 to 17, Gutiérrez participated in more than 13 high-level meetings. He engaged in discussions on innovation in artificial intelligence for trade facilitation and sustainable prosperity through commerce.

Following the meeting, Gutiérrez will engage with over 20 Korean companies and investors interested in expanding their production and operations to Mexico. The objective is to share the vision and goals of Plan México, coordinate efforts in attracting investments, and diversify trade and economic risks.
