While total exports reached 1.9 million units, this represents a 1.4% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.
However, the January-July 2025 export performance places it as the third-best period for Mexican automotive exports, with over 2.3 million units produced—a 0.7% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

The Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry (AMIA) highlighted that the light vehicle industry showed positive results in July 2025, with stable production and exports—key pillars supporting the country’s economy.
