The newly announced products and features were specifically designed to address Mexico’s unique challenges.
Three Strategic Pillars
1. Operating More Safely
Samsara’s focus on AI aims to bring significant improvements for clients by preventing risks, encouraging safe behaviors, and ensuring operational integrity. Cristina Sánchez, Samsara’s Sales Engineering Manager, introduced the AI Multicamera, offering a 360° high-definition view and real-time risk alerts. She also highlighted the Intelligent Safety Training, providing on-the-job assistance to workers, and Driver Recognition, rewarding responsible practices immediately.
2. Operating More Securely
With advanced technology, Samsara protects workers, maintains asset control, and ensures supply chain integrity to complete operations effectively. By providing insights based on over 14 billion processed data points globally, Samsara’s solutions help organizations optimize every aspect of their physical operations. Rencoret emphasized improvements in inspection reporting, enhancing regulatory compliance and process coordination speed, accuracy, and security.
He also revealed the integration of Happy Robot, an AI-powered assistant platform. Alongside Pablo Palafox, CEO and co-founder of the Spanish company, they demonstrated how “AI Workers” can automate phone calls, emails, and messages to streamline logistics between suppliers, operators, and clients.
Impact and Success Stories
To illustrate the impact of Samsara’s products, representatives from innovative companies like Flecha Amarilla, Grupo Express del Norte, Trayecto, and Proan shared their experiences and success stories in a panel discussion.
Ricardo Pinto, Flecha Amarilla’s Planning and Operations Manager, explained their choice of Samsara over other partners: “Samsara met our needs by offering robust hardware that seamlessly integrates with our units without compromising warranties. It has allowed us to optimize driver performance, strengthen unit safety, and maintain service quality.”
Since arriving in Mexico in 2019 with only five sales representatives, Samsara now employs over 500 people, making it a significant employer within the technology sector.
Jorge Puente, Samsara’s Mid-Market Commercial Director in Mexico, encouraged businesses to embrace technology: “The platform is easy to adopt; we call it ‘plug and play’ because its implementation is agile, and the benefits are substantial. We view it as an investment rather than an expense.”
