About NTT DATA and the eAwards
NTT DATA, a global IT services provider, has announced the launch of the 23rd edition of the eAwards. This prestigious competition aims to recognize and reward the best technology project that serves society. The winning project will receive a significant prize of one million pesos, access to a tailored acceleration program, and the opportunity to represent Mexico in the Global eAwards, where an additional one million pesos prize awaits the overall winner.

Eligibility and Registration
Tech-based projects focused on community service, innovation, scalability, and sustainability are encouraged to apply. Eligible projects should not have raised more than 22,770 million in funding or generated over 11,385,000 pesos in revenue in the past three years.

Evaluation and Past Winners
After the registration deadline, a panel of judges will evaluate the submissions. Finalists will present their projects in August, and the winning Mexican representative will be selected based on these presentations.
Previous winners have made significant contributions to society, such as a nanotechnology-based device for cancer patients and an electronic aid for Parkinson’s patients. In the past year, UNBLIND, a startup developing smart glasses for visually impaired individuals using AI, emerged victorious.
These smart glasses can detect, describe, and name objects using 3D sounds, promoting independence for visually impaired users in mobility.
