The meeting with Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand, was particularly significant. Both governments declared readiness for the T-MEC review in 2026 and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the Mexico-Canada Action Plan, agreed upon by their leaders months prior.

In his discussion with the UK’s Minister for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Yvette Cooper, they focused on strengthening trade links, cooperation in renewable energy, and the need to reform the multilateral system—especially the United Nations—in response to current global challenges.
