Trump’s Plan for a Peace Council in Gaza
President Donald Trump is initiating his proposed Gaza Peace Council, a post-war peace council, and several international leaders have confirmed receiving invitations to join.
According to Trump’s plan, the council will include a Peace Council led by him, a Palestinian committee of technocrats to provisionally administer Palestinian territory, and an “executive council” serving as advisors.

The White House stated that the Peace Council will address issues such as “strengthening governance capabilities, regional relations, reconstruction, attracting investments, large-scale funding, and mobilizing capital.”
Donald Trump will chair this Peace Council. Other members include:
- Marco Rubio, US Secretary of State
- Steve Witkoff, Trump’s special envoy
- Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law
- Tony Blair, former UK Prime Minister
- Marc Rowan, US financial magnate
- Ajay Banga, World Bank President
- Robert Gabriel, Trump’s loyal advisor on the National Security Council
National Committee for Gaza Administration
This committee, composed of technocrats, will “oversee the restoration of essential public services, civil institution reconstruction, and stabilizing daily life in Gaza,” according to the White House.
Ali Shaath, former Palestinian deputy minister, chairs this committee.
Gaza Executive Council
“This entity will assist in supporting effective governance and high-level service delivery that promote peace, stability, and prosperity for the people of Gaza,” as per the White House.
