About LectoFest and its Relevance

Hybrid Activities
These eight activities blend creativity and contemporary themes, covering topics such as musical reading, fostering critical reading, imagination, ethical analysis through afrofuturism and artificial intelligence. Additional hybrid activities include learning other languages, poetry reading, analyzing literacy processes, and a comic creation workshop. One unique activity is “Sentido en construcción,” which demonstrates that translation involves interpretation and giving meaning beyond words.
In-Person Activities
For those attending the UDLAP campus, six diverse activities await. These include an oral reading club, using artificial intelligence and language technologies in games and Braille systems. Participants can also engage in an escape room-style activity, solving linguistic challenges to reach a final solution. A panel discussion on the significance of horror and gothic literature, along with a literary workshop, will also be available.
