Q3 Financial Performance

On Tuesday, Cemex’s shares experienced a substantial increase of nearly 8% on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) following the release of its Q3 financial report, which met analysts’ expectations.

  • Share Price: Cemex’s stock price rose to 18.55 pesos per unit, marking its highest level since February 6, when it surged by 12.43%.

Analysts from Bx+ acknowledged that Cemex reported increased sales and EBITDA, while experiencing a slight decline in net income. They noted that the reported figures were nearly in line with consensus estimates.

“We expect a neutral to positive implication, as the report showed variations in line with estimates and the company presents an improved outlook for its key markets,” they added.

Q3 Financial Highlights

Cemex’s financial report, submitted to the BMV, revealed that during Q3 2025, the company generated an operating cash flow (Ebitda) of $882 million, a 16% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

In the July-September 2025 period, Cemex reported sales of $4.245 billion, a 2% rise from the same timeframe in 2024.

“Prices for cement, concrete, and aggregates have increased by mid-single-digit rates since Q4 2024, helping to offset rising input costs.
