Water Crisis and Rotoplas’s Role

Mexico is facing a severe water crisis, with more than 35 million Mexicans lacking proper access to water and 60% of the national territory experiencing some level of drought. Rotoplas, a company specializing in water-related solutions, participated in the Revolución Hídrica forum to discuss potential solutions such as water reuse, treatment, and rainwater harvesting.

Rotoplas’s recent performance: The company, known for selling tinacos (water tanks), cisterns, and offering irrigation, rainwater harvesting, and water treatment services, reported third-quarter results to the Stock Exchange. The company experienced a decline in sales due to market conditions and the strong Mexican peso compared to other currencies, like the Argentine peso.
