At some point in life, we all face various dilemmas with no choice but to voice our opinions. However, in today’s global reality, while not frightening, it is filled with excuses, unfounded accusations, and criminal offerings. Recent months have prompted us to question what the United States could achieve in Venezolan territory, given its military potential and deployment near the coast. The failed attempt to extract Nicolas Maduro in early January, along with discussions about watches, excesses, and political prisoners released (over 400, to be exact), has left many questions unanswered.
Discussions Among Friends
Over a weekend of self-indulgence, I engaged in conversation with four notaries and three locals over meals, discussing global issues, including past policies and their key players. Though once respected by the people, times have changed.
Global Concerns
Topics included the United States’ stance on Groenlandia’s defense, potential military offensives, and ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon. Meanwhile, Ukraine and Russia have only seen meetings and declarations, with no substantial progress to curb post-Cold War ambitions.
Iran’s Protests and Violence

Mexico, too, faces internal issues despite the United States accusing it of terrorism. In mid-August 2025, only Campeche and Yucatán were considered safe for travel due to State Department warnings against Colima, Guerrero, Michoacán, Sinaloa, Tamaulipas, and Zacatecas. However, domestic problems persist.
