Under the Leadership of President Claudia Sheinbaum and Governor Alejandro Armenta
In Puebla, the state government, guided by Governor Alejandro Armenta’s commitment and in line with the national strategy of Senderos de Paz led by President Claudia Sheinbaum, is constructing peace and well-being through community work, historical savings, and direct attention to causes.
Community Wealth through Infrastructure Development
- More than 170 streets have been rehabilitated.
- Strategic roadways, such as the Cholula straight and the San Francisco Totimehuacan–Valsequillo highway, are being worked on.
- Costs have been reduced by up to one-third through the use of owned machinery and Pemex donations, resulting from combating fuel theft and collaborating with federal forces.
This approach also addresses rural paths and irrigation systems, enhancing mobility and ensuring connectivity for emergency cases. An example is the commencement of construction for the San Baltazar Tetela–Los Ángeles Tetela bridge, which will cut travel times from an hour to just minutes, saving lives.
Community Support through Machinery Modules
- 14 machinery modules are actively working, with 2 specialized in pavement and over 529 actions ongoing in 93 municipalities.
- The Secretary of Infrastructure promptly addresses both planned and emergency works, including those resulting from natural phenomena like hurricane Erick.
- Urban maintenance actions, such as mechanical street cleaning in key areas of the capital, are also being carried out.
To date, over 1,583 families have been assisted in 3,800 hectares, resulting in a savings of 26.6 million pesos for producers and a direct benefit of 7,000 to 12,000 pesos per hectare in each agricultural cycle.
Strengthening Security
Governor Armenta announced the reinforcement of the Secretariat of Public Security with 50 new towers, equipped with drones connected to the C5i system, facial recognition, and license plate readers. Additionally, 100 surveillance cameras will be installed at the low autopista bridge, and 100 neighborhood alarms will be given to Peace and Security Committees.
