EdoMéx Sends Second Cargo of 70 Tonnes of Humanitarian Aid to Veracruz; GEM and Judicial Power Join Forces

Of these, 46 tonnes were collected by the Judicial Power of the state, while the remaining 24 tonnes came from the state government. This shipment complements the previous 190 tonnes already sent to Veracruz.

“I am pleased to express my gratitude and congratulations to everyone who makes up this Power, as indeed those 46 tonnes heading to Veracruz add to what our citizens and other organizations have accomplished.”

Current Collection Efforts

There are currently four collection centers located in the State of Mexico Government Palace in Toluca, DIFEM Toluca, the State of Mexico’s Civil Protection office in Valle de Chalco, and a newly relocated center in Tlalnepantla. The collection drive is ongoing from 09:00 to 17:00 hours, with no specified end date.

Call for Continued Support

The State of Mexico government urges the community to continue donating non-perishable food items, baby supplies, sleeping bags, sheets, blankets, footwear, clothing, bottled water, medical supplies, cleaning products, personal hygiene items, animal food, and tools.
