Aguascalientes concluded 2025 with a positive economic balance, the result of an unprecedented international promotion strategy aimed at attracting investments and positioning the state in key global markets, according to Esaú Garza de Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, Science and Technology (Sedecyt).

International Outreach and Its Impact

As part of this vision, 17 international tours and commercial missions were carried out in countries such as Japan, the United States, Germany, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, India, and Singapore. The objective was to showcase Aguascalientes’ productive, industrial, and logistical potential.

Strengthening Aguascalientes’ International Presence

The secretary highlighted that this intense international agenda allowed Aguascalientes to strengthen its presence abroad, consolidate strategic alliances, and open new growth opportunities for both local companies and “Hecho en Aguascalientes” products. These actions led to the confirmation of 29 new investment projects, totaling over 15,000 million pesos, reflecting the confidence that national and international investors have in the state.

Garza de Vega emphasized that Aguascalientes boasts solid competitive advantages, positioning it as one of the best destinations in the country for investment, growth, and innovation. These advantages include cutting-edge infrastructure, a robust industrial ecosystem, highly skilled human talent, and public policies that provide certainty and confidence to investors.

During these tours, 286 specialized activities were conducted, including executive meetings, diplomatic encounters, investment seminars, business forums, networking sessions, and business meetings. These activities focused on promoting the state’s strengths and stimulating new productive projects.
