Alfredo “N”, alias “Conejo”, Arrested in Jalisco

Omar García Harfuch, the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), confirmed on Monday the arrest of Alfredo “N”, also known as “Conejo,” a key operative of a criminal group responsible for violence in multiple Zacatecas municipalities.

The federal official stated that the arrest took place in Magdalena, Jalisco, during an operation led by elements of the Mexican Army, the Security Cabinet, the Federal Attorney General’s Office (FGR), the National Guard, the SSPC, and the National Intelligence Center. The operation was conducted in coordination with the Zacatecas State Attorney General’s Office.

García Harfuch mentioned via his social media account that Alfredo “N” had an active arrest warrant in Zacatecas for extortion, bribery, and criminal association. During his arrest, authorities seized firearms, 2 kg of cocaine, and 900 doses of methamphetamine.

The SSPC also reported that Alfredo “N” is accused of drug and firearm trafficking activities across several southwestern Zacatecas municipalities.

Isidro “N,” a public official from Hostotipaquillo, Jalisco, was also detained alongside Alfredo “N”.

11 Detained in Sinaloa

On Monday afternoon, García Harfuch reported the arrest of 11 individuals as a result of three operations in Culiacán, Sinaloa.

These 11 suspects are believed to be part of a criminal organization linked to homicides, weapon storage, and violent incidents in the state.

During the operations, authorities confiscated 10 long guns, vehicles, and tactical equipment.
