Ariadna Montiel Reyes, the Secretary of Welfare, announced that more than 1,326 individuals in Michoacán are benefiting from various Welfare Programs. She also mentioned that over 40,000 million pesos have been allocated for these supports within the state this year.
Jesús Antonio Esteva Medina, the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation, reported that as part of Plan Michoacán for Peace and Justice, the Mexican government is working on modernizing and expanding a four-lane highway from Nueva Italia to Lázaro Cárdenas.
Zoé Robledo Aburto, the General Director of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), detailed 41 ongoing actions in 23 municipalities of Michoacán, with an investment close to 12 billion pesos.
