Online Simulator for Aspirants
Aspirants for the UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and IPN (Polytechnic Institute of National Education) high school level under the “Mi Derecho, Mi Lugar!” program will have access to a virtual exam simulator.
Simulator Availability
The simulator will be available from June 9 to June 12, 2023. It is expected to take approximately 20 to 30 minutes. This exercise aims for candidates and their families to familiarize themselves with the digital assessment platform and verify technical compatibility of their devices.
Optional Yet Recommended
Although this is an optional exercise, it is highly recommended for candidates to experience the online exam environment. The actual exam will be supervised by an artificial intelligence system using a webcam and microphone.
Prerequisites
- Complete the pre-registration process: This includes paying the examination fee and taking a photograph for identity verification.
- Download a secure browser: Between June 2 and June 6, candidates must download a mandatory browser provided by the institutions for both the simulator and the actual exam.
- Device compatibility: Only desktop computers, Macs, or laptops with a built-in microphone and webcam will be allowed. Mobile phones, tablets, and Linux-based computers are not permitted.
Exam Structure
The simulator exam will consist of 128 questions, the same number as the actual exam. This ensures candidates are well-prepared for the real testing experience.
Actual Exam
The admission exam will be conducted online in two blocks: June 13 to June 15 and June 20 to June 22. Results will be announced on August 19 on the official website www.miderechomilugar.gob.mx.
