Governor Alejandro Armenta emphasized the importance of CEPOSAMI as a national and international reference for mental health care, especially for children and adolescents. He acknowledged parents’ concerns about their children’s behavior post-COVID-19 and highlighted the unique specialization of this center in Mexico.

Background on CEPOSAMI and its relevance

CEPOSAMI, under the SEDIF system, will be a first-rate mental health facility for minors. The state government conducted a comparative analysis of the 32 Mexican states and global counterparts to ensure Puebla receives top-tier care for its children.

Support from artistic events and volunteers

Umi Choda Morales, CEPOSAMI’s general director, expressed gratitude to the creators of the conferencia-show and the artistic events for their generosity in supporting Puebla’s children. The ticket sales from these events will expand mental health care coverage for target age groups.

Additionally, volunteers from various state government departments will carry out fundraising actions to equip CEPOSAMI further.

Michelle Talavera’s announcement of cultural events

Michelle Talavera, director of Convenciones y Parques, announced two cultural experiences blending art, identity, and solidarity to establish Puebla as a creative capital. These events have the support of Mexico City’s President Claudia Sheinbaum and Governor Alejandro Armenta, aiming to strengthen cultural identity and support social causes for Puebla families.

The revenue from these events will benefit the state’s DIF.

Artistic event organizers’ commitment

Juan Manuel Romero, the conferencista and “El Mago Interno” show titular, pledged to donate part of the resources obtained on September 18 to CEPOSAMI. He emphasized awakening inner magic in children and adults to understand the life they’ve created.

Gerardo Quiroz, producer and director of GQ Producciones, praised Puebla’s commitment to culture and performing arts for social benefit. He announced a 100% beneficiary performance in Mexico City on October 12, coordinated with Convenciones y Parques and Gabinete Coordination.
