In another part of the operation, near Paseo de la Reforma and Ignacio Ramírez in Cuauhtémoc borough, a motorcyclist was apprehended for riding without a helmet and assaulting a police officer who attempted to secure his vehicle.
The man was taken into custody and presented to the Prosecutor’s Office, while the injured officer was attended by ERUM paramedics and transported to a hospital.
The SSC reported that security deployments remained active throughout the event’s duration. Traffic personnel conducted road closures in principal thoroughfares to facilitate contingent movement and minimize risks among attendees and drivers.
