State Support Propels Tepeyahualco’s Tourism and Development

TEPEYAHUALCO, Puebla – In a significant event that underscores the commitment to security, economic development, and regional tourism promotion, Puebla’s governor, Alejandro Armenta, visited Tepeyahualco to lead two key activities: the handover of a patrol vehicle and an ambulance, along with the inauguration of Hotel Samsara.

Handover of Security Units

During the handover ceremony for the patrol vehicle and ambulance, Mayor Said de Jesús Godos Luna expressed gratitude for the governor’s presence, emphasizing that this support strengthens the capabilities of security forces and encourages Tepeyahualco residents to continue working for their community.

“Here is our commitment to security. These units support our officers and the municipality,”

Governor Armenta praised the local authorities for their determination to enhance security and highlighted Tepeyahualco’s historical and natural wealth.

“This magical region is rich in history and deserves all our attention. You are not alone; we are working together,”

Hotel Samsara Inauguration and Economic Impact

Following the Hotel Samsara inauguration, Governor Armenta celebrated entrepreneur Vinicio Limón Rivera’s initiative, describing him as an example of how tourism can become a driving force for economic and social transformation.

The Hotel Samsara, blending Arabic, Mongol, Moroccan, and Andalusian architecture, presents itself as a new tourist attraction that complements the area’s pre-Hispanic and colonial heritage.

“We will secure this area with security, infrastructure, and tourism promotion. We will establish a strategic center for tourism attention that includes surveillance, civil protection, information, and medical services,”

Governor Armenta outlined an all-encompassing strategy that includes signage, road improvements, and joint promotion with the INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History) and the federal Tourism Secretariat.

Entrepreneur’s Vision for Poverty Eradication

Entrepreneur Vinicio Limón Rivera emphasized that the Samsara project aims to eradicate poverty through tourism, capitalizing on the region’s abundant natural and archaeological potential.

“We have six lakes, volcanic craters, mountains, and the largest archaeological zone in Mesoamérica: Cantona. All of this can and should flourish,”
