Frida Kahlo Inspires New Luxury Residential Project in Miami's Wynwood

Developer PMG and LNDMRK Development Unveil Frida Kahlo Wynwood Residences

PMG and LNDMRK Development have announced the Frida Kahlo Wynwood Residences, a new luxury residential project located in the vibrant Wynwood district of Miami, inspired by the iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.

Project Overview

The development, designed by renowned Latin American architect Carlos Ott in collaboration with CUBE 3, will feature 244 luxury residences. This project aims to blend art, architecture, and wellness in one of South Florida’s most dynamic neighborhoods.

Partnership and Vision

Ryan Shear, partner and director of PMG, explained: “This residence seamlessly integrates art with Carlos Ott’s visionary and highly acclaimed architectural design and Baker Health’s comprehensive wellness platform to create an unparalleled lifestyle driven by creative expression.”

The Frida Kahlo Wynwood Residences project adds to PMG’s extensive portfolio, valued at billions of dollars, comprising over 8,500 residential units and more than 16 million square feet.

Art Meets Wellness

Interior design for the Frida Kahlo Wynwood Residences will be handled by Cotofana Designs, focusing on a balance between fine art and creative intent in each space.

  • The development will offer a collection ranging from studios to three-bedroom fully furnished residences.
  • Units will include walk-in closets, customized kitchens, high-end appliances, bespoke bathrooms, and contemporary lighting packages.
  • Some residences will feature private studios and balconies with panoramic views of Wynwood.
  • Certain units will integrate private offices, ideal for meetings, creative processes, or reflection spaces.

Carlos Ott stated, “The architecture of Frida Kahlo Wynwood Residences achieves a balance between softness and strength, using elegant curves to create a form that feels resilient, open, and artistic, yet deeply human.”

The project will also incorporate the Baker Health platform, specializing in primary care and holistic wellness.

Alex Karakhanian, director of LNDMRK Development, emphasized: “The project’s focus on quality residential spaces, flexible office space, and solid architecture positions it well for the neighborhood’s next phase.”
